Privacy policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
What we collect when you use EveryApp, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
EveryApp (everyapp.pro) is run by Cause Connect Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (“we”, “us”, “our”). We decide how and why your personal information is used, so we are responsible for it under the data protection laws that apply to you.
If you have a question about this policy or your information, contact our data protection officer at privacy@everyapp.pro.
2. The short version
- Most of our free tools work entirely on your device. What you put into them is never sent to us.
- When a tool does need to process your file for you, we delete the file as soon as it’s processed, and your result is available to download for 1 hour before we delete it.
- If you create an account, we keep your name, email address and what you need to use your plan.
- We don’t sell your personal information, and we only send you emails you need, such as sign-in codes.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your email address, your name and your password. We never see or keep your password in a readable form; it is held in protected form by our sign-in provider.
- Google sign-in: if you choose to continue with Google, we receive basic profile details from Google, such as your name and email address, to create or sign in to your account. We don’t receive your Google password.
- Files for processing tools: the files you upload to tools that process them for you (see section 5).
- Messages: anything you send us when you contact us.
Information we collect when you use EveryApp
- Usage records: for signed-in users, the tools you have added to your account, the processing jobs you run and how much of your monthly allowance you have used. We need these to apply your plan’s limits.
- Security and access logs: your IP address and basic details of each request, such as the page asked for, the time and your device type. We use these to keep the service running and secure, and to stop abuse.
- Sign-in sessions: essential cookies that keep you signed in (see section 7).
Payment information
When paid plans are available, payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. We receive and keep what we need to manage your plan, such as your plan, its status, renewal dates and a record of your purchases.
4. Tools that work on your device
Our free tools, including the QR code generator, password generator, image compressor, converter and resizer, PDF merge, split, rotate and delete pages, JPG to PDF, word counter, case converter, JSON formatter, age calculator and random number picker, work entirely on your device.
The files, text and other content you use with these tools stay on your device. They are not uploaded to us, and we can’t see them.
5. Files you upload to processing tools
Some tools, such as Video to MP3, need to process your file for you. Each tool says so on its page. When you use one:
- Your file is uploaded to us only to produce the result you asked for.
- We delete your uploaded file as soon as processing finishes.
- Your result is available for you to download for 1 hour, then we delete it.
- We don’t look at, share or reuse the contents of your files for any other purpose.
We keep a record that the job happened (for example, which tool, when and how much of your allowance it used) as part of your usage records, but not the file itself.
6. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- provide the tools and your account, and process files you ask us to process;
- verify your email address and sign you in;
- apply your plan, its limits and any purchases, and handle payments;
- send you service emails, such as verification codes, sign-in codes or links, and password resets;
- keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems;
- answer your questions and requests; and
- meet our legal obligations.
We only send emails needed to run your account. We don’t send marketing emails. If we ever want to, we will ask for your consent first where the law requires it, and you will be able to opt out at any time.
Our legal bases
Where laws such as the EU or UK GDPR apply, we rely on:
- Contract: to provide the service you signed up for or asked for;
- Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and improve it, where this doesn’t override your rights;
- Legal obligation: to keep records and respond to lawful requests; and
- Consent: where we ask for it. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, we collect, use and disclose your personal information with your consent, or where the Act otherwise allows it, for the purposes described in this policy.
7. Cookies and ads
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. The service can’t work without them, so they can’t be turned off.
We may show ads to visitors who aren’t signed in. Signed-in users don’t see ads. Today, we don’t use any advertising partner, analytics or tracking tools. If we add one, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
8. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run EveryApp, and only what they need to do that work for us:
- hosting and infrastructure providers, who run the service and store its data;
- our account and sign-in provider, who holds account details and sessions;
- our email delivery provider, who sends service emails;
- our payment processor, who handles payments; and
- our content delivery and security filtering provider, who delivers pages quickly and blocks attacks.
These providers act on our instructions and must protect your information. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, users or the public, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganisation of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
A small number of our staff can access account and usage records to run the service and help you. Actions they take in our admin tools are logged.
9. Where your information is processed
We are based in Singapore, and the service and its data are hosted in the United States. This means your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws from your country. When we transfer personal information, we take steps to make sure it gets a standard of protection comparable to the law where you live, including written agreements with our service providers and, where required, standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant authorities.
10. How long we keep it
- Files uploaded to processing tools: deleted as soon as processing finishes.
- Results of processing tools: available to download for 1 hour, then deleted.
- Security and access logs: up to 30 days.
- Account details and usage records: for as long as you have an account. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete them, except anything we must keep to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations, resolve disputes or prevent fraud, which we keep only for as long as needed for that.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
11. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Access is limited to people and providers who need it. No service is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but if a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, including your account;
- receive a copy of your information in a portable format;
- object to or ask us to limit how we use your information;
- withdraw your consent where we rely on it; and
- complain to a data protection authority, such as Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission, or the authority where you live or work in the EU or UK.
To use any of these rights, including to delete your account, email privacy@everyapp.pro. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will reply within the time the law requires, and we won’t treat you differently for using your rights. If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to provide parts of the service that depend on it, and we’ll tell you what that means.
United States residents
If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it (this policy describes that), to access, correct and delete it, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. You can also use an authorised agent to make a request.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We don’t use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose that would give you a right to limit it.
13. Children
EveryApp is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need your parent or guardian’s consent to create an account where the law requires it. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will change the date at the top when we do, and if a change is significant, we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.
15. Contact us
For any question or request about your personal information, email our data protection officer at privacy@everyapp.pro.
