Pleasure

1 “Mendicants, there are these three feelings. What three?

Pleasant, painful, and neutral feeling. These are the three feelings.

2 Whether it’s pleasant or painful,

as well as what’s neutral,

whatever there is that is felt

internally and externally:

3 having known, ‘this is suffering,

deceptive, breaking apart’,

seeing feelings vanish with every contact,

that’s how they become free of desire for them.”
