Questions
- Do I need to know how to code?
- No. Describe the app in your own words and answer a question or two. There's no coding and nothing to set up.
- What kind of apps can I build?
- Trackers, lists, planners, calculators, drawing apps, games and AI assistants all work. A chore chart for your kids, a rent tracker or a quiz game for your class are good places to start.
- How much does it cost?
- The App Builder is included with EveryApp Pro. There's no fee per app: building and changing apps uses Pro's monthly allowance, and you can top up whenever you want more.
- Who can use the apps I build?
- You, and the people you invite. Send someone a link, they sign in with their own EveryApp account, free or paid, and you see the same records, kept in sync. Nobody else can open it.
- Can I put my app on my phone?
- Yes. Install it on your phone or computer straight from the browser, and it works offline. Apps don't go in the App Store or Google Play.
- Can I change my app later, and do I own it?
- Yes to both. Ask for changes whenever you like, and go back to any earlier version. What you make is yours: download your app and its data any time.
- Who's responsible for the apps I build?
- You are. EveryApp is the platform: AI writes your app and we host it, but what it does and shows, your rights in what it uses and the people you invite are yours to look after. AI can make mistakes, so test your app and check what it shows before anyone relies on it. Our Terms of Use have the details.
- What can't it do yet?
- Apps can't take payments, run custom server code or sign in to your other accounts, like your bank or your email. You can share an app with people you invite, but you can't publish it for the public.
Don't need a custom app?
These everyday apps are ready now and free to use, with nothing to build.
- Expense SplitKeep track of who paid for what on a trip, in a shared flat or at a dinner. Split each cost equally, by shares, by percentage, by exact amounts or item by item off the receipt, in any currency at the rate you type, and see who owes whom. Expense Split works out the fewest payments to settle up, to the cent, links to each person's PayPal, Venmo, Monzo or UPI with the amount filled in, and keeps a record of who has paid back.
- Habit TrackerTrack the habits you want to build with one tap a day, from yes/no habits to counts like 8 glasses, on every day, chosen weekdays or a few times a week. Streaks allow one rest day a week, so a single miss doesn't wipe out your progress, and time away (a holiday, being ill) pauses every streak instead of breaking it.
- To-Do ListA to-do list that understands plain words: type "pay rent every month on the 1st" or "call Sam tomorrow 5pm" and the date, time and repeat are set for you. Pick your tasks for the day in My Day, see what's due and coming up, break tasks into subtasks, share a list and say who each task is for, and get a reminder when a task is due. It syncs across your devices, works offline and installs like an app.
- Meal PlannerPlan breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the week, from your own recipes or anything you type, and get one shopping list that adds up every ingredient. Fill the empty days from your favourites in a tap, leave off what you keep at home, send the list to Grocery List, cook once and eat twice with leftovers, and share the plan with your household.
- Chore ChartPlan the chores in your home by room and how often they repeat, give each one to someone or let people take turns, and tick them off each day. A week grid shows who does what, each room shows how clean it is, and points add up to a fair weekly tally that people can spend on rewards you set, like picking the film or pocket money. Share the chart so everyone ticks off their jobs on their own phone.
