How to play Texas Hold'em Poker
- Choose how many computer players to sit with. Everyone starts with 1,000 chips.
- You get two private cards. Five shared cards come out in three rounds: three on the flop, then one on the turn and one on the river.
- On your turn, fold, check or call, or bet and raise with the slider and quick buttons.
- The best five-card hand from your two cards and the five shared cards wins the pot. Knock everyone out to win the table.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this real-money poker?
- No. Chips are free and have no value. There's nothing to buy and nothing to win.
- How do the computer players play?
- They weigh their chances of winning against the price of the bet, raise good hands, fold weak ones and bluff now and then, so they're not always predictable.
- What are the blinds?
- They start at 10 and 20 and double every 10 hands, so a game doesn't go on forever.
- Which hand wins?
- From best to worst: royal flush, straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush, straight, three of a kind, two pair, pair, high card.
- Is Texas Hold'em Poker free?
- Yes. It's free to use, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
