FreeCell: Play Free FreeCell Solitaire Online
Free, no sign-up, works in your browser. Play FreeCell Solitaire online. All 52 cards are dealt face up, so almost every game can be won with careful play. Use the four spare cells, build down in alternating colours and move each suit home.
How to play FreeCell
- All cards start face up in eight columns. Plan a few moves ahead.
- Build columns down in alternating colours: a red 9 on a black 10. Any card can go in an empty column.
- Park single cards in the four free cells at the top left while you dig out the ones you need.
- Move each suit to the top-right piles from ace to king. Tap a card to send it to the best place, or drag it.
Frequently asked questions
- Can every game be won?
- Nearly all of them. Of the classic 32,000 numbered deals, only #11982 is known to have no solution, and New game skips it.
- Can I play a specific game number?
- Yes. Type its number under the table and press Deal. The numbers give the same layouts as other FreeCell games.
- How many cards can I move at once?
- One more than your empty free cells, doubled for each empty column. Moving into an empty column, that column doesn't count.
- Why do some cards go home on their own?
- Low cards that nothing else could need are moved to the top-right piles automatically, as in most FreeCell games.
- Is FreeCell free?
- Yes. It's free to use, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
