Why convert RAR or 7Z to ZIP?
Every computer and phone opens ZIP without extra apps, so it's the easiest format to share.
Can I convert to 7Z or RAR?
Not yet. RAR can't be created without a licence from its maker, and 7Z output isn't available here yet. ZIP, TAR and TAR.GZ are.
What is TAR.GZ?
A TAR bundle compressed with gzip, common on Linux and macOS servers. TAR alone bundles files without compressing them.
Is there a size limit?
Archives up to 500 MB that unpack to at most 512 MB, since the whole archive is rebuilt in your device's memory.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The archive is converted on your device and never leaves it.
