- Which conversions can I do?
- Text documents convert between DOCX, DOC, ODT, RTF, TXT and HTML. Spreadsheets convert between XLSX, XLS, ODS and CSV. Presentations convert between PPTX, PPT and ODP.
- Can I turn a spreadsheet into a Word document?
- No. Each file stays the same kind: a document becomes another document, a spreadsheet another spreadsheet. To get a PDF of any of them, use Word to PDF, Excel to PDF or PowerPoint to PDF.
- Will my formatting be kept?
- Text, tables, images and page layout carry over between DOCX, DOC, ODT and RTF. Plain text keeps only the words, and CSV keeps only the values of the first sheet.
- Can I convert a password-protected file?
- Not yet. Remove the password first, then convert it.
- What happens to my files?
- Your file is deleted as soon as it's converted. Your new file is available to download for 1 hour, then it's deleted too. On a paid plan, your files and results are kept in My files until you delete them.
