Frequently asked questions

What do the presets do?
Bass boost and Less bass raise or lower the low end. Treble boost and Less treble do the same for the highs. Clearer voice removes rumble, thins out muddiness and lifts the range where speech is easiest to understand.
Can I combine a preset with the sliders?
Yes. The sliders are added on top of the preset. Choose None to use the sliders only.
Will boosting make it distort?
Loud peaks are held just below the maximum, so the file doesn't clip. Big boosts on music that is already loud can still sound heavy; try a smaller step first.
What happens to my files?
Your file is deleted as soon as it's processed. Your new file is available to download for 1 hour, then it's deleted too. On a paid plan, your files and results are kept in My files until you delete them.
