Frequently asked questions
- Can I merge videos of different sizes or formats?
- Yes. MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM and most other common formats can be mixed. Every clip is fitted to the same frame, with black bars where its shape differs, so nothing is stretched or cut off.
- What if one clip has no sound?
- That part of the merged video is silent; the sound of the other clips is kept.
- How long can the merged video be?
- Up to 30 minutes in total. Videos larger than 1080p are scaled down to 1080p.
- How much of my allowance does a merge use?
- One minute for each started minute of the merged video, counting every clip together.
- What happens to my files?
- Your videos are deleted as soon as they're merged. Your MP4 is available to download for 1 hour, then it's deleted too. On a paid plan, your files and results are kept in My files until you delete them.
