Frequently asked questions

What is a semitone?
The smallest step in Western music, one key on a piano. 12 semitones is a full octave. To move a song from C to D, choose +2.
Does the song get faster or slower?
No. The length and tempo stay the same; only the pitch moves. To change the speed instead, use Change Audio Speed.
What does "Mostly a voice" do?
It keeps the character of a voice, so a shifted voice sounds less like a cartoon. For music, leave it on Music.
What happens to my files?
Your file is deleted as soon as it's processed. Your new file is available to download for 1 hour, then it's deleted too. On a paid plan, your files and results are kept in My files until you delete them.
