Frequently asked questions
- Does changing the speed change the pitch?
- No. Voices and instruments keep their pitch, so a sped-up lecture still sounds like the same person. To change the pitch instead, use Change Pitch.
- How slow or fast can I go?
- From a quarter of the speed (0.25×) to four times as fast (4×). The result can be up to 60 minutes long, so long files can't be slowed down as far.
- How much of my allowance does it use?
- One minute per started minute of your file or of the result, whichever is longer. Speeding up counts your file; slowing down counts the longer result.
- What happens to my files?
- Your file is deleted as soon as it's processed. Your new file is available to download for 1 hour, then it's deleted too. On a paid plan, your files and results are kept in My files until you delete them.
