How to use Change Video Speed

Frequently asked questions

Does the sound change too?
Yes. The sound plays at the new speed and keeps its pitch, so voices don't sound like chipmunks or slowed-down tapes.
Will slow motion look smooth?
Slowing down shows each frame for longer; it doesn't invent new frames. Videos filmed at a high frame rate (60 fps or more) give the smoothest slow motion.
How much of my allowance does it use?
The source or the result, whichever is longer, rounded up to the next minute. Slowing a 2-minute video to half speed counts as 4 minutes.
What happens to my files?
Your video is deleted as soon as it's done. Your new video is available to download for 1 hour, then it's deleted too. On a paid plan, your files and results are kept in My files until you delete them.
