- Is my recording uploaded anywhere?
- No. The video is recorded and saved on your device. Nothing is uploaded, so it's safe for private meetings and work screens.
- Can I record the sound from my computer?
- In Chrome and Edge, tick Share audio when you choose what to share. A tab's sound works on any computer; the whole computer's sound works on Windows. Firefox and Safari record the picture and your microphone only.
- Can I record my voice at the same time?
- Yes. Tick My microphone before you start and allow access when asked. Your voice and the screen's sound are mixed into one track.
- Is there a time limit or watermark?
- No watermark and no set limit. The recording is held in your device's memory until you download it, so for very long recordings keep an eye on free space.
- What format is the video?
- MP4 where your device can record it (Safari, recent Chrome and Edge), otherwise WebM. Both play in VLC and most players, and our video tools can trim or compress them.
- Can I record my screen on a phone?
- Phones and tablets don't allow it from a web page. Use the screen recorder built into your phone instead: Control Center on iPhone and iPad, Quick Settings on Android.
