Free Focus Timer & Sleep Sounds with Fade-Out
Free, no sign-up, works in your browser. Pick a soundscape and a rhythm. For focus, work in rounds (25 and 5, 50 and 10, or your own) while the sound softens on every break and a soft chime marks each change. For sleep, choose a scene and a length and it fades slowly to silence. Save your own routines, keep a streak and a weekly chart, and jot down in the morning how long it took to fall asleep.

Why use Sleep & Focus Soundscapes
- Sound that follows the plan
- It softens on breaks and fades at bedtime, so you don't have to touch the volume.

- Every sound has something on screen to match, so it works fully muted too.
- Free and private
- No ads in the installed app, no sign-up, and the sounds play from your device.
- 100% free
- Use it as often as you like. No sign-up, no watermark, nothing to install.

How Sleep & Focus Soundscapes compares
| Option | How it compares |
|---|---|
| A kitchen timer and a playlist | It works, but the sound doesn't change on breaks or fade out for you, and nothing keeps your streak. |
| A free-form sound mixer | A mixer is good for building one soundscape and leaving it on. This app is for timed routines: sprints, breaks and a fade to silence. |
How to use Sleep & Focus Soundscapes
- Open Sleep & Focus Soundscapes and pick Focus or Wind down. Sound starts only when you tap Start.
- For a sprint, choose a soundscape and a rhythm, then tap Start sprint. The scene softens on breaks and a chime marks each change.
- For bedtime, choose a scene and how long it should play, then tap Start wind-down. It gets quieter over the last stretch and stops.
- Adjust the sounds, save the mix as your own routine, and check your streak and weekly chart on the Progress tab.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from a plain sound mixer?
It runs routines. A focus sprint has work rounds and breaks, with a softer scene and a chime at each change, and a wind-down fades itself out over the length you choose. The log, the streak and your saved routines come with it.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once it has loaded or you have installed it. The sounds are files inside the app and the noises are made on your device, so nothing needs a connection to play.
Will it keep playing with the screen locked?
That depends on your phone and browser. Some phones stop web audio when the screen locks. If yours does, keep the screen on or leave the app open. The wind-down's fade runs on the audio clock, but a sprint's chimes and scene changes can arrive late when the phone puts the page to sleep, though the clock itself stays right.
Does it help me sleep or focus?
It gives you a steady sound and a routine, which many people like. It is not a medical device and doesn't diagnose or treat anything, and the morning note is only your own memory of the night.
Does it need an account?
No. Your sessions, routines and morning notes are saved on your device. Sign in if you want them on your other devices too. You can download them, export a spreadsheet or delete everything from Settings.
Do the sounds come from the internet?
No. They play from files inside the app, and nothing is sent anywhere to hear them. Rain, ocean, night air, café, forest and a warm bed are files; white, pink and brown noise are made on your device.
Is Sleep & Focus Soundscapes free?
Yes. It's free to use, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
