Free Guided Meditation App: 3, 5, 10 and 15 Minute Sessions
Free, no sign-up, works in your browser. Pick a theme (settling in, following the breath, a body scan, letting go of the day or gratitude) and a length of 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes, press Begin, and a calm voice talks you through it over a soft background sound. The words appear on the screen as they are spoken, so you can follow along with the sound off. Ring a bell at the end, keep a streak and a record of your minutes, save favourites, and use it offline once installed.

How to use Guided Meditation
- Open Guided Meditation and choose a theme: settling in, following the breath, a body scan, letting go of the day or gratitude.
- Choose how long you'd like: 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes. A longer session has longer stretches of quiet between the spoken lines, not more talking.
- Pick a soft background sound (or none) and press Begin. Find a comfortable position. The sound starts when you press the button, never before.
- Follow the voice, or the words on the screen. When the session ends, a bell rings and the background sound fades out. Your minutes and your streak are on the Progress tab.
Frequently asked questions
Is Guided Meditation free?
Yes. Every theme, every length and every feature is free, with no account needed. The voice and sounds are recordings stored in the app, so using it costs nothing per session.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once you install it, the voice, the background sounds and your progress all work with no connection. Nothing is streamed while you meditate.
Can I use it with the sound off?
Yes. The words appear on the screen, line by line, with the line being spoken highlighted, and the quiet stretches show a countdown. You can read the whole transcript at any time, and tap a line to jump to it.
Does it keep playing when my screen turns off?
It depends on your phone and browser. The app schedules the voice and sounds on your device's audio clock, so they usually carry on when the screen dims or locks, and it asks your device to keep the screen on while a session runs, where that is allowed. Some phones, particularly in battery-saving modes, stop web audio when the screen locks. If that happens, keep the screen on for the length of the session.
What are the themes?
Settling in (arriving and getting comfortable), following the breath (resting your attention on each breath), a body scan (moving your attention slowly through the body), letting go of the day (putting the day down before you rest) and gratitude (bringing to mind what you appreciate).
Is this a treatment?
No. Guided Meditation is a relaxation and attention practice, not medical advice and not a treatment for any condition. If you feel unwell or uncomfortable, open your eyes and stop. Don't listen while driving or using machinery. If you are struggling, please talk to a doctor or someone you trust.
Can I install it on my iPhone or Android phone?
Yes, from your browser. On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome and tap Install.
Who can see my sessions?
Only you. They stay on this device unless you choose to sync them to your EveryApp account. Synced or not, they are never sold or used for ads, and you can download them (JSON or CSV) or delete them all at any time in Settings.
Is the voice a real person?
The guidance is read by a computer-generated voice, recorded once and stored in the app. It plays from your device and nothing is generated while you listen.
What language is the guidance in?
The spoken guidance, and the words that appear on the screen as it is spoken, are in English. The buttons, menus and settings are available in 21 languages, including Arabic, Chinese, German, Japanese and Spanish, and follow your device's language.
