How to play Mole Bop

  1. Pick a level (easy, normal or hard) and press Start.
  2. Click or tap a mole as it pops up, or press the number keys 1 to 9: 1, 2 and 3 are the top row, like a phone keypad.
  3. Bop moles in a row to build a combo: every five in a row raises the points for each bop, up to five times.
  4. Golden moles are worth extra, helmet moles take two bops, and hitting a flower pot costs points and your combo.
  5. Score as much as you can before the 60 seconds run out.

Frequently asked questions

What breaks my combo?
A mole getting away, a bop on an empty hole, or hitting a flower pot. Pots left alone don't count against you.
What changes between the levels?
On harder levels moles pop up more often, stay up for less time and come two at a time more often. Every round also speeds up as the clock runs down.
Can I play with the keyboard?
Yes. The number keys 1 to 9 match the holes, laid out like a phone keypad, so you can play without a mouse.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Tap the moles directly; the garden fits the screen.
Where is my best score saved?
In this browser on this device, one best score per level. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Is Mole Bop free?
Yes. It's free to use, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
