Frequently asked questions
- How does a shootout work?
- Each side takes five kicks, one at a time. If one side can no longer be caught it ends early. If it's level after five, it goes to sudden death: one kick each until one scores and the other doesn't.
- How do I save a penalty?
- Choose a part of the goal before the kick. If the ball goes near where you dive, you stop it; if you guess wrong, it's a goal. Weaker kickers often lean the way they're about to shoot.
- Why did my shot miss the goal?
- Hitting it at full power is fast, but less accurate. Aiming tight into a corner with too much power can send it wide or off the post.
- Can I play on a phone?
- Yes. Drag your finger over the goal to aim and lift it to lock, then tap anywhere to strike. When keeping, tap where you want to dive.
- Is my progress saved?
- Yes, the teams you've unlocked are kept in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- Is Penalty Shootout free?
- Yes. It's free to use, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
