How to play Pixel Pet
- Choose one of three creatures and give it a name.
- Keep an eye on its meters: food, fun, energy, clean and health slowly fall while the page is open.
- Feed it berries, veggie stew or a sugar plum, play catch, wash it, and call bedtime when it's sleepy.
- If it gets poorly, give it medicine. Good care makes it grow from tiny to young to full-grown.
Frequently asked questions
- Can my pet die?
- No. If it's left alone its meters fall and it gets sad, and maybe poorly, but a little care always brings it round.
- What happens while I'm away?
- Time catches up gently when you come back: the meters fall at half speed for at most 12 hours, and never below a floor, so your pet is hungry and lonely, not in danger.
- How do I play catch?
- Press Play catch, then move your pet under the falling balls with the arrow keys or A and D, or by dragging on the room. Each ball caught makes it happier.
- Does it work on phones?
- Yes. All the care is buttons, and in catch you drag on the room or use the arrow buttons.
- Where is my pet saved?
- In this browser on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere and there's no account to make. Clearing your browser's site data lets it go.
- Is Pixel Pet free?
